Hi, I am Ji Young, the Learning Director of Bareun Korean. Since 2010, when I first started studying to teach Korean as a Foreign Language at university, it has always been my passion to teach Korean language and share Korean culture.
During my time as a Korean teacher, I’ve had the privilege of interacting with so many wonderful students from diverse nationalities and various stages of life. The experiences of witnessing my students achieve their language goals have motivated me to grow more as a teacher but also as a language learner. I am enthusiastic about meeting more students in Singapore and guiding them towards achieving their goals in learning Korean.
Providing a ‘Bareun’ Learning Experience
The name of our language centre, ‘Bareun,’ carries the meaning of ‘right or proper’ in Korean. We take a learner-centred approach, where you are at the centre of the learning process. By considering your needs, interests, and goals, we are dedicated to guiding you along the “right” path to learning Korean.
